I ran across an interesting experiment the other day that deals with making $7k in two weeks, selling porn online. The guy plans on doing all the work “from scratch” which I take as him meaning - he will not use his previously designed sites (which is a little crazy because I believe he will need all the help he can get) in traffic generation.
Personally if my goal was to net $15k porn sales in one month, I would need to have about 5 outsourced Indian webmasters at my beckon call, a dedicated box built for viagra/dick enlargement spamming and a $30k budget.
Regardless, I wish him the best of luck in his experiment. However, I believe that not only will his experiment fail, but it is in fact a clever viral marketing campaign to gain webmaster traffic to his blog. The ultimate goal, to get affiliates signed up under his sponsor-ref-codes in the long run.
If you had to make $7k in two weeks with porn sales, what techniques would you leverage?

If you are into submitting galleries as part of your marketing efforts, your database of sites to submit to, is your bread and butter.
There are many ways to build your list of sites to submit to. From buying databases, to trading with other webmasters, to hunting them down on your own, your options are many. Personally I prefer to build my own database from scratch.. and for free. My suggestion is to start by getting as many sites as possible on your list, then slowly filter out the ones that are worthless to you.
Basically, throw shit at the wall, see what sticks, clean the wall and repeat.
First of all, you have to realize alot of the sites you submit to, may not list your galleries. They may have a year old backlog, or not allow your sponsor, or just plain think your galleries suck. Generally you should read their submission rules and decide if you will even be able to provide what they like. Check out the galleries that are already listed on their site and see if you will be competitive with the currently approved galleries.
I write this, assuming you already have a gallery submission program (like AdvancedSubmitter) and know how to use it. If not, maybe you should use a bookmark folder in your browser or make an spreadsheet of sites that you can use when it is time to submit. I highly recommend using a submission program though, because it will help you tremendously.
To start looking for sites to submit to, start by hitting your favorite search engine. Search engines have the best quality of traffic, so you will be looking for sites that your target visitor is hitting when he searches for your niche.
Lets say you are targeting the cumshot niche. Here are some tips for building your cumshot submission database:
- inurl:cumshot “submit gallery” -this will show you all sites where the word “cumshot” is contained in the page url and “submit gallery” is on the page.
- intitle:cumshot “submit gallery” -this will show you all sites where the word “cumshot” is contained in the title of the page and “submit gallery” is on the page.
Repeat the above techniques for all the keywords/niches you promote and you will have a nicely targeted submission database for any niche you decide to attack.
Once you start submitting your galleries on a regular basis, you can monitor your traffic to see what sites are listing you, what sites have the most traffic, what sites are responsible for your conversions, etc. After you mine this data, you can delete the poor-performing sites from your submission database.
One of the first ways many webmasters attempt to make money in the adult business is by gallery submitting. In the future I will outline some successful techniques for getting galleries listed for free on the highest traffic porn sites, but for now I want to focus on somewhat of a case study. The following thread, highlites one person’s experience purchasing 10 gallery listings on thehun (as of this posting, they are #1 on sextracker), and the dissapointing results.
Many people think that they can simply signup with an adult affiliate program, get a custom gallery designed, buy a listing on a high traffic site and make a ton of cash overnight (they are right).
The fact is, to turn profits in adult, it takes hour upon hour of research before you should even consider purchasing traffic. Trying to throw shit at the wall and seeing what sticks is a dangerous technique when money is involved. If you have money to blow, by all means go ahead and throw your shit at the wall, but if you are interested in getting out the gates running, make sure you do your homework.
If you were hypothetically going to buy a listing an exceptionally high traffic adult site. Don’t just blindly choose a site to promote.
These queries are just the tip of the iceberg. If you don’t understand why you would want one of those questions answered, figure it out. Ultimately you are looking for the easiest ways to profit. Talk to thehun and ask him if there are special rules for paid listings. Maybe he will be feeling generous that day and will allow you to insert a geo-targeted pussycash webcam link (currently paying $125 per signup), below your movie clips.
Ultimately you want to push something unique and somewhat targeted towards the established audience on the site you are purchasing ad space on. Monitor what seems to be working for people already and improve on it.
Regardless of how you blaze your trail, don’t believe that there is “no money” in any new idea you have… Pick up the ball and fucking run it!!!
