Working as an adult webmaster, you most likely have a pretty good amount of income and expenses to manage. If you are like me, generally you buy anything that can help you get a new edge on the competition and be first to market with something new. Regardless if it’s redesigning a site or adding on to the server farm. Spend, Spend, Spend…Profit, Profit, Profit…Repeat.

Only to find at the end of the year, Uncle Sam has you grabbing your ankles.

When tax season rolls around you gotta have a gameplan. Start by incorporating your business in the Canari Islands… just kidding?! Start by trying to find every writeoff possible. If you work from home and are showing too much profit, buy a big screen plasm TV. Afterall, you only use it for market trend research and you need to have some big business expenses.

Here’s some nice ideas for writeoff info I ran across last tax season: Tax Writeoff Resource Thread.

One of the first ways many webmasters attempt to make money in the adult business is by gallery submitting. In the future I will outline some successful techniques for getting galleries listed for free on the highest traffic porn sites, but for now I want to focus on somewhat of a case study. The following thread, highlites one person’s experience purchasing 10 gallery listings on thehun (as of this posting, they are #1 on sextracker), and the dissapointing results.

Many people think that they can simply signup with an adult affiliate program, get a custom gallery designed, buy a listing on a high traffic site and make a ton of cash overnight (they are right).

The fact is, to turn profits in adult, it takes hour upon hour of research before you should even consider purchasing traffic. Trying to throw shit at the wall and seeing what sticks is a dangerous technique when money is involved. If you have money to blow, by all means go ahead and throw your shit at the wall, but if you are interested in getting out the gates running, make sure you do your homework.

If you were hypothetically going to buy a listing an exceptionally high traffic adult site. Don’t just blindly choose a site to promote.

  • First start by visiting them on a daily basis and noting what programs are being pushed in the top 10 positions.
  • Take note of what these programs are, see if they are promoting fresh and new sites or if they have some unusual niche.
  • What kind of gallery templates seem to be used the most often?
  • Are they sending direct to join or to the tour page?
  • Are they upselling other products on their gallery pages?
  • Is a certain sponsor heavily represented?
  • When you browse the link codes, does it look like the site owner or an affiliate is pushing the traffic?
  • Does it look like they are going for PPS or Revshare?
  • Is the audience is looking for hairy amputees?
  • If they are, what does that do to your odds of selling your niche?

These queries are just the tip of the iceberg. If you don’t understand why you would want one of those questions answered, figure it out. Ultimately you are looking for the easiest ways to profit. Talk to thehun and ask him if there are special rules for paid listings. Maybe he will be feeling generous that day and will allow you to insert a geo-targeted pussycash webcam link (currently paying $125 per signup), below your movie clips.

Ultimately you want to push something unique and somewhat targeted towards the established audience on the site you are purchasing ad space on. Monitor what seems to be working for people already and improve on it.

Regardless of how you blaze your trail, don’t believe that there is “no money” in any new idea you have… Pick up the ball and fucking run it!!!

lock icon secureWhenever you handle your business online, you are bound to run into scammers. The net is flooded with everything from fly-by-night small timers to methodical predators, nobody is 100% safe from getting scammed.

Every time you exchange services online, you need to be paranoid. Even a longtime associate could cut and run on you.

While being blind sided by a friend is nearly impossible to forsee, online acquaintances should always be researched before any transfers are made. Make sure you google all personal names, business names, etc., prior to handing your money over to anyone. If you are doing business through a messageboard, see if anyone with credibility can vouch for that person. I have seen so many people scammed out of money online that it has become obvious, there are individuals who have turned deception into a profession.

autogallery by jmbsoftwareAutogallery SQL (AGSQL) is one of the best adult tgp site scripts on the market. JMBSoft is the company behind this program and I must admit I am a heavy user of their products. There are a million ways you can use this AGSQL, but personally I use it for creating tgp style traffic hubs that encompass many niches.

Installation of AGSQL is very simple. It consists of creating a database, uploading & chmodding some files, then intializing the script from your browser. After installation you have a control panel, from where you can manage the entire system. You can import all of your sponsor’s galleries (fhg’s), manage partner accounts, edit gallery thumbnail previews, manage required reciprocal links and even modify the templates for your pages.

If you are interested in allowing gallery submitters to submit at your site (you should be, instant backlinks, low quality but high quantity!), you can manage all of this very easily. You can setup pages for them to; apply for partner status, submit galleries, etc. AGSQL also has a feature where surfers can report hostile galleries (cheating submitter has placed a trojan or exploit in the gallery), so you can easily blacklist rogue gallery submitters. Cheating galleries are easily weeded out. With proper tweaking of the gallery scanner, you can have it check every gallery on a nightly basis for any changes or user-agent redirects.

Regardless of whether you are going to setup a thumbnail or text based site, this script should cover most of your bases. The thumbnail cropping utility can make some nice touch-ups to the thumbs and you can even have the gallery scanner, auto-create your thumbs, if you don’t feel like cropping them all manually.

This means you can create a thumb site very easily. Auto-scan the galleries, set the hit counter to sort your thumbs based on clicks… then after a couple days just go back and manually crop the poor-peforming thumbs. Set your galleries to be evenly dispursed with the partner submitted galleries and you will have a high prod site, with traffic feeding to your fhg’s in no time.

Make sure you take your time with this script when you set it up the first time. I suggest you create a category for every niche known to man, sign up with a few reputable sponsors. Import all of your sponsor fhg’s, making sure to put them in their proper niche categories (lesbian, teen, anal, etc)… and you can have a huge site instantly. If you do it right and import gallery descriptions too, the search engines will be indexing hundreds of text rich, niche pages… loaded to the fucking brim with your fhg’s. Then just start trading a few niche page links and you are on your way.

The only problem I have with AGSQL is it doesn’t have an integrated search feature for surfers. The search feature in the backend is robust and very high quality, however it is non-existant on the frontend.

JMBSoft’s support ticket system is pretty quick, any tickets I have submitted were responded to within six hours. Unfortunately, I believe the ticket system is fast because they only offer support for 1 year after your license purchase, so I imagine many expired members must rely on the support forum for technical assistance, which is a slower method. They also offer deals to existing members in the owners lounge. One month they had a deal so sweet I picked up 10 copies of this script, without even having domains to put em on.

Recommended Usage: Text Based Tgp

traffic cash goldThere are a slew of adult affiliate programs out there for you to promote. Odds are you have already signed up with one or another. I assume most people start by joining a program that has sites they are personally intersted in or have a certain niche they want to push. Other times you stumble across them by mere accident. If you have not personally found Traffic Cash Gold (TCG) yet, I highly recommend you give them a run.

TCG consistently drops fresh new sites with tours that can convert nearly any niche of traffic. According to StatsRemote this month of September I am 1:345 across their entire network with only sending 10,694. Do the math on the $35 pay per signup (pps) and you can see they treat me pretty decently.

The only downside to TCG is they do not offer a revshare program. I guarantee this network rebills like a muhfucka and if we could get revshare the average member would be worth closer to $70.

TCG’s tours are top notch, with every trailer chopped and screwed (mixed and edited) to a T. Honestly if you have any movie traffic whatsoever and can’t sell TCG, you need to start filtering foreign ip’s or removing the fucking word “free” out of your marketing efforts.

Diamond Rating.

puzzle pieceI have alot of friends that I urge to make a little money on the side in online adult marketing. I always have little ideas for them, regarding ways they could start doing small amounts of profitable work online, without even spending money. A simple time investment is all it takes. If you are spending any amount of time doing “social networking” (blogging, myspacing, livejournaling), p2p sharing, website design, graphic design, etc. online, you most likely have a few of the tools needed to make money slanging porn.

Alot of the time I feel like they don’t really understand what selling porn online consists of, but it is very basic. To sell porn online, you simply act as a middle man (an affiliate). Any business that wants to make it big online offers an affiliate program. Take QuickBuck for instance, go to the bottom of any of their websites and you will see a link that says Webmasters, .. this is the crux of affiliate recruiting. Signup with their program, they give you a link (plus other tools), you make money by getting visitors to use your link.

There are a million ways to promote porn, I suggest focusing on just one first. If you are broke, maybe you want to try starting a free blogger account. This would be one of the easier places to market from without any investment. From that account you could setup a site devoted to girls spanking each other or even act as a suave character who has the formula to getting girls on myspace, thanks to the huge dick some pills from Genbucks gave you. There are a million possibilities here and nobody is stopping you from trying any of them.

Now quite often I see people jump into selling porn and immediately start trying to promote the most competitive niches. My biggest piece of advice here is pick something unique to sell. Now while you might think BangBus is unique, even my grandma knows what the fuck that is, so you won’t be breaking any new ground. MILFHunter, yeah that cat is more recognizable than Dick Cheney, so fuggetaboutit. Focus on a micro-niche (thongs, piercings, midgets, etc) and you will be on the right track.

Once you have the basics down, study up on; optimizing your pages for search engines, heat maps for where visitors browse the most on-page, statistics tracking, link and traffic trading, and watch your empire grow!
